I have a 91 Si i bought for 1000.
The engine blew up on the way home and i just re built it.
For the engine, the bottom end is a D15B2.
The top is a D15B vtec port and polished head. =]
So yes, its a mini-me swap.
it has 10MM wires, msd blaster and dizzy.
strut bar.
re-located battery.
ect, ect ect.

im just wondering what you guys think about it so far?
it is FAR from being finished.
i havent started on the body yet, so thats not my crappy bondo work! =P

im open for suggestions, and such.
i just want to know what eles i should do engine wise?
what would get me more power.
btw im not rich, so i have to keep it on a low(ish) budget =P

I just put new corner lights on it, there black.
Stupid me, sold the Si tranny when the engine blew, so its a DX tranny. =/

Wow....what a nice crx ! I've always wanted an "si" but the people who have them usually don't sell them unless something is majorly wrong with 'em.

 

Make sure you check the wheelbase before you dump too much into it assuming that you have not already. If it is off than at least make sure the frame is straight. If I recall correctly CRX has a 90.5 Inch wheelbase. But someone double check me there.

what do you all think i should do with the body?
i want to go back to stock, but if you notice, my drivers door, the previous owner attempted to shave the spot were the trim piece went... any suggestions?
