Does any particular problem area on this motor come to mind? The leak is on the backside of the engine. I've eliminated the oil filter, and the oil pan drain plug.
From looking, it does not SEEM to be coming down from the valve cover.

I just looked quickly tonight (was getting dark) -- but thought I'd throw the question out as to if there is a "known" oil leak source on these engines.

Any thoughts?

Maybe your oil pan gasket is bad. Mine went bad on my 96 ex.

Thats the only thing that deals with oil back there besides the oil pressure sending unit. i have seen these go bad. Little thing next to the oil filter. has one wire going to it.

 

Likely suspect is the oil pressure sender. Is directly above oil filter
