Storage and Oil
So my car will be driven for the next few weeks until it starts to snow out here. I have 1000mi on current oil change and will probably add another 1000mi. before i put it in the garage for winter. In the winter it will still get driven on nice weekends and stuff but for the most part i dont want it on the road.
1.On to the questions should i leave the old oil or should i do a fresh oil change?
2.Any other recomendations on storing a car that will get driven aprox.20-50 miles a week?
Thanks

I thought you were in a shitty climate for a minute then I realized you're in Denver. You should be fine man, the winter honestly isn't too bad and there is always plenty of nice days to start it up and mob around out here. I drive mine 365/366 on leap year... Snow, rain, sun, sleet, just not hail.
One thing people don't do is let it warm up to full temp before shutting off the engine after its been cold/winter/sitting, water does condensate inside the oil and will cause it to sludge up. Either drain it or run it once or twice a week for a while... But there are always chances to drive in Denver during winter. Most I've seen is like a week when it was a bi(*$ to drive mine since its lowered a little bit, but I did better than the Mustangs haha.

Ditto the above^^^ I park mine in the winter, and will drive it on nice dry days, either way I will start it up twice a week, let it get to full engine temp. put it into gear and move it up and down my driveway once or twice. 94
