I have a stock hf motor d15b and i want to port it but i wonder if i should just grab a si d16a6 intake manifold(slightly bigger port) and throw it on? would a SI manifold fit into a stock HF d15?

Any body know if this conversion is possible?

 

im sure it would, i mean if you can put the dpfi manifold on the z6 head then i dont see why not (and that does work, dizzy requires modifing)

 

get a z6 intake manifold. it has bigger intake ports and bigger throttle body opening

sadly i cant find a good z6 manifold any where for cheap...but i can get a hand on d16a6 manifold easily for a few bucks...losing a few mm in port size(no biggie)...

 

@singlecamsaint- what modification do i need to do for the dizz?

 

@efjones9- how much is a used z6 manifold? if you do know any one that is selling it in good shape let me know. i might consider spending a bit for a z6 intake manifold.

 

there are plenty of z6 intake manifolds listed on craigslist every other day especially in sur califas...!!!

 

I just ordered a very clean Z6 mani from a '95 EX civic with fuel rail, injectors, FPR etc for only $40 shipped on eBay...

so Howd it go??? Im doing the same conversion on mine with a ported Si intake Manifold... did you need to get anything else or was it just a bolt on??? (I have a 90 HF)
