Icon6 a6 spun then b2 a6

alright, so ive went threw a long process in my swap which is quite aggravating, lol
so i pull my b2 out swap in my a6 y8 and cant get it to run on anything but 3 cylinders, sooo i swich the y8 head to the a6 head and same **** no fire on cylinder 2 so my friend says check your dizzy and im like nah cant be, sure enough take my cap off a wire on some thing was half broke so i tape that up and sure enough fires right up, lol so i took of my y8 head for no reason, anyways. i drive it very baby like for the first 300 miles btw this is in my 88 ef sedan full interior si tranny stage one exeddy. so i get at about 700 something miles on my full rebuild and im driving on the freeway put it in neutral and it dies no biggy back to 5th dump the clutch runs fine then i go pick up a new vc gasket change it, on the way back home same ****, the closer i got to my house the more it did it, now heres the funny part. a riced out accord passes by me and i here tack tack tack tack i was like damn tough rod knock then a lumina passes by me and i hear it again didnt think anything of it. i get to a light car dies start it up then i hear it, =[ rod knock on my freshly rebuilt motor oil pressure light was coming on since i put my swap in but couldnt figure out why, anyways by time i get home i hear just a loud growling so i figure i dont wanna deal with it ill sell it so i got my car on craigs for a few weeks and just get sad and miss her so i get her towed to my dads, pull my motor and see...no oil restrictor oil galley whatever you wanna call it that you pull out for mini me swaps, so i think hmm that must be where my oil pressure was going then i feel like a moron cuz the same **** happened on my friends motor but he bought his block without it didnt think anything of it, so anyways i clean off the awful 1988 gasket left on my b2 block put my a6 head on my b2 block with a y8 tripple layer, couldnt find wire cutters strong enough to ****ing cut the rivets to make it a double layer, anyways get it in my car and it fires right up to my suprise, drove around all day and let me tell you it screams for having a block that burns oil past 5k it ***** on my a6 had power up to revlimiter in every gear, only went to 4th but as soon as i pulled out the drive way i noticed a difference it feels alot more torquey or however you spell it then some b series ive driven and it has nice top end too, to bad i just sold my y8 cam gear cuz i know my timing is off sorry for the shitty grammar/punctuation but if your on a budget its a good swap for relativley no money
