A dilemma, help me NW guys!
So, I know this would be a question for the Wheels and Appearance part but I want to know the opinions of the locals since thats where I want to be unique; is in Washington State area. So without further adue: Should I keep the Works VSXX wheels gold and black bolts or go Black with polished bolts? I really like the gold but I just want to be a bit more unique according to these colors. So I'm wondering if you guys see a lot of jdm front, milano red integras with gold vsxx around? haha.
hmmmm, I like them on the car, but I'm not in love with the look of it.
it's true, you don't see many milano red jdm fronts with gold rims like those, so you'd be unique, but I just think it could look better. maybe lower it a little bit more will help with the stance

fully polished would look nice
there is a black teg with jdm front and rims like those but bigger that are polished. looks ok. I think either keep em gold or paint em black. the only thing I think besides lowering it more if you kept it gold would be the paint the lip of the trim on the rim gold too.
Keep them the original finish. It takes some serious time to refinish a wheel, and the end result may not leave you as happy as you expected.
I personally think the gold with the polished lip looks perfect with the MR, you will regret having a shiny black face with the polished lip, looks tacky on such an excellent wheel. I'd agree with the fully polished option, but it's soo time consuming especially if you want a great result.

Lower it MORE? He's already tucking tire!
from that picture doesn't show that he's tucking. he's got no gap on the tire/fender, but barelly tucking.
srok1, just saw your car on the northwest rides thread with black rims. looks way better with gold rims in my opinion.

And its barely tucking tire, but maybe when I get the fenders rolled I can go a bit lower. We'll have to see! I'm just trying to get this ready for the NW Toy Run this year so I can actually go to a car meet and show it off. Its been a long and slow and painful project.
ya it is tucking tire, just not enough! lol. I think the front really need to be tucked about an inch if not more of tire haha. well you won't be able to go too much lower on 17's but that's ok. fender rolling will help though, and getting them re-coated will help them look a lot cleaner

Yeah if its mad expensive, I'm not too sure about going that route. But I'm wondering about the fender rolling itself. The paintjob is brand new, will rolling my fenders by someone who knows what theyre doing ruin the fender paint??
it shouldn't mess up your paint when done correctly. when doing it correctly, they will take a heat gun to heat up the paint so it doesn't chip or crack when the metal is bending/flexing.
I had to double check with my buddy who is buying a fender roller because that was my number one concern.
