Default what action should i take (if any)

ok so heres the story

1) took my 01 civic gx into honda dealer to get the airbag recall done
2) got car back and it started overheating
3) check coolant notice its blue (i thought it was some idiot that put window washer fluid in my radiator)
4) bring car back to honda and tell them that my car is overheating and that i think theres window washer fluid in my coolant system.
5) they tell me that honda coolant is blue and i feel stupid
6) i keep the car and it still overheats and i just keep adding water as the coolant is dissipating somewhere. im adding water, all plugs fouled out, radiator bubbles, spark was brown.
7) i pulled the head off and there is white (absolutely white, not offwhite) foamy, soapy looking bubbles in the coolant jacket.

i have pics and will post them.

has anybody else seen something like this? surely, if the coolant and window washer fluid is blue then this has happened before. some freakin brand new kid working at honda has to have done this to someone elses car. is there a honda master tech in here that has seen this before.

i work at a honda dealership and i personally have never seen bubbling in a coolant jacket before but i can vouch for Honda that their new coolant is turqouis/blue in color and prediluted 50/50 mix

I think you hit the nail on the head when you say someone mixed up which fluid to put in the radiator.

I would schedule a meeting with the gm/owner/whoever is highest in charge at the dealer and show them these pics. it doesnt take a mechanic to realize that coolant shouldnt foam under heat

yeah. i also want to speak with a lawyer to see if they think ill just be spinning my wheels trying to prove that honda had anything to do with it. although i think small claims you dont have to prove same as criminal court.

take a small sample.. send it to a lab ..when they analyze it .. it will come back washer fluid.. now you will have scientific PROOF..then confront dealer..

plus, my question is, if they are just doing the airbag , what the hell were they doing in the cooling system IN THE FIRST PLACE??

If you didn't authorize this, then you have them for an UN-authorized repair..

I have never seen anything list this in my life...

My .02 cents..

You pulled off the head. They're going to blame you. Good luck trying to get this resolved. How long has it been since the first incident?

I've never seen them do that.

Washer fluid is basically a water/alcohol mix, so it evaporates faster. It shouldn't foam.
