problem with brake piston. need help please!
ok, so yesterday my friend and i were installing my coilovers on my integra. when we took of the passenger side front caliper the brake pads fell out and that piston in the brake caliper kinda popped out. Because of that, i cant push it back in to make room for the brake pads so it can fit right on the rotor. I tried c-clamps and a brake compressor. any of you guys know how to solve this problem?
So the piston did not become separated from the caliper and the dust boot??
The piston may have come out past the seal inside and the seal may have expanded.

turn it back, it probably turned trying to adjust for the pad thickness which wasnt there and is extended too far. just get a large screw driver or a 1/4" piece of steel adn use it to turn it back

If it's the front, open the bleeder valve a little and then push it in with the clamp....be aware some brake fluid will come out as the piston slides back in so remember to refill it. Now if it's the rear, open the bleeder valve a little and twist the "+" looking groove on the piston back in. Don't forget to tighten the bleeder valve back after the piston goes in.
You must have tapped the brake while it was off. Open bleeder and try c-clamp agian, or the brake tool, be patient it takes awhile to figure out what part of the key fits.
