transmission leak from breather cap

Default transmission leak from breather cap

my b16 transmission is leaking from the front fill in hole.the hole that has the rubber cap on it . here is a pic of what i am talking about. i clean it and after i go around the block i have oil all over my transmission. can someone tell me how to fix this?my clutch does slip at times. could that be it?

That's the breather cap. Not sure why oil would leak there. Is the transmission over filled with fluid? Is your rubber breather cap missing?

the trans should take 2.5 quarts of fluid. drain what you have and start over

removing the upper "fill" plug/bolt will drain the excess leaving the correct amount in the case. same idea as what you're saying, just less work/waste.
