Having a few problems
I came to this site not to long ago to learn more about my car and how to better maintain it and get ideas from other integra owners.
Having a few issues that i still havnt been able to fix and looking for advice.
The car seems to sputter alot. i know this can be many things but i replaced the air filter so far. havnt tried to see if it sputters alot while going at high speeds. i havnt driven faster than 50ish or so in it yet. Seems like it goes away after the car warms up or at least becomes less frequent. Im thinking it could be the fuel pump maybe
The engine is also pretty loud when it first starts. and eventually sounds abit quieter when it warms up. But initially it sounds like its hitting valves or something. my friend is trying to convince me that it has a cracked head which i doubt. Ive been told integras are loud because they have solenoid injectors or something? and they click.. is that true?
Anyway im wondering what the most common issues and fixes are for these things so i dont end up spending tons of money fixing the wrong things and i know this is the best place to ask.
