Hi people
I'm in this forum and I need help to get my car smogged since the seller lost the smog certificate >:O.
I have engine check light and the idle is erratic from 1-2k rpm but the seller told me it was an easy fix of missing 02 sensor? is this that true? should I replace both the front the front and and rear 02 sensor? I'm running jdm b20b or supposedly the seller said. Any shop where I can get my work done for cheap since I'm a college student! thanks. and I need a smog place that is friendly since b20b is illegal.. looking for some place close by pomona thanks.

 

For being in college you cant put a sentence together for ****!O2 sensor's from what i know dont make the rpm bounce at all.The motor will not pass like you said because it is illegal.So no matter what you fix thinking you will pass you will not.Only way to do it is if you had some sort of hook up.Other then that only other choice is a swap back to the b18.Not only is that motor illegal to have in a car in cali(considerd a light truck motor) if it really is jdm it will not passe legit.

 

i have no power steering and ac! is it cheap to put back in my car and the cost is worth or no.

I think in maryland you can pay like $300.00 and get a waiver for you car for emissions. But as **** as cali is about everything car related they probably have nothing like that. They make weed legal but people still cant legally mod their cars?? Something is really wrong with that picture. You need to make friends with the people at a smog testing facility and get them to hook you up. Or try slipping them some cash under the table. You kind of bought a problem.

Us Cool OBD1 guys used to just be able to slam the suspension out so it wouldn't fit over the rollers.
Now they did away with the roller though.

 

dang .. three bills ! Is there any good shop near pomona or near by to look up my engine? I'm having an idle problem from 1-2k rpm and I'm missing o2 sensor for the front. O yeah.. my car is gsr dc7 from what the seller told me. So I have two problem, one is with the engine check light by no 02 sensor and weird idle problem. thanks

 

umm, why not buy and install the o2 since you know you need it???!?!?!??!
