Icon2 JRSC from ITR/CTR/B16A head to fit to B18C1/B18C4 - GSR P72 head HELP!!!!!!

Hi all, just found Jackson Racing supercharger from B16A2 civic with all gear like pulleys and brackets for sweet price!!
I have GSR DC2 integra, motor B18C stamped with P72. I know it doesnt fit just like a bolt on...
Is it possible to work around it just by drilling extra holes in JRSC itake flange to match bolt paterns from my P72 GSR head, or so I have to give it all to machine shop to do all the work like welding IM flange from my GSR IM on to JRSC?

Throw your advices, experiences and ideas please

You should weld on the gsr intake manifold flange.

You will run into alot of problems if you just drill it because you will not be able to torque the bolts down evenly. This will most likely cause coolant/vacuum leaks.

Just buy it and flip it. Then buy a GSR JRSC.

I'll better go turbo road I guess as for that price of SC + machine job and be put at 0.5 bar as for now to run on stock internals... I'd get eGay turbo kit for around the same and it fits just right in then get ecu tuned and can run my the very same 0.5 bar safely w/o modding my IM...

will have to leave it as here's no handy machine shop around so...

Find a b16 head on the cheap? Just a though. I have personally found ebay "Generic Brand" parts to be unreliable and cheaply made.

If yo search you will find out that you can drill the jrsc b16 manifold to fit the gsr head, the manifolds are made from the same cast. It has been done before.

If you read the post he makes, there is a hole where the coolant goes. Unless you weld closed the unused hole in your manifold, in the long term you may run into coolant leaks.

Or you could do what he did in the last post he made, tap the hole and seal it with a plug.

the gasket wasnt sufficient enough to seal against the coolant port. so it leaked. im 99% sure it was because there wasnt anything backing it. so i tapped the port on the head to 1/2" npt and plugged it. all sealed up now

Ok, bought the JRSC kit for 770eur ... will be rebuilding it (at least its gaskets) in short future and will be either looking for cheap full CTR head with all its contents in good condition, or either just going to look for GSR IM and will have to find workshop thats going to do me all the job...

Do yous think its a good price I've payed?
