Help identify engine in crx
I have found a 1986 crx (dx) that I am considering purchasing. When I opened the hood I was surprised to see a valve cover that read "pgm-fi 12 valve". I had limited time and access to this car as it is a repo so I did not get a chance to read the engine stamp.
From what I know of honda engines it is not a:
A series, C series, K series, L series or E series
I believe that it could be a:
B20A3/A4
or
D15A1/A2/A3
Any advice for what this engine could be?
Thanks

If it was carbureted, then it's a D15A1 (I think?) that came stock in the 84-87 DX and someone just changed the valve cover (not sure if that's possible). If it really is a PGM-FI motor, then it's a D15A3 (again could be wrong about the specific code) from a 1st-generation Si. 86-89 Integra D16A1 is a pretty straight-forward swap.
Lots of info on these at RPR.
