Hey guys,

Been a while.

Wanted to come in here and tell you guys who I finally met after nearly 10 or 11 years...

I was at H2Oi, one of the biggest and most well known VW shows in the country when I saw this guy walking around.

He kept looking at me, so eventually I was like ehh, what gives. I walked up to him and was like, "YO! Is your name Ben?"

I finally met, hung out with, and took pictures with the one and only Stunna Ben all day. He's definitely one of the OGs in the scene and I had a lot of fun chilling with him.

Anyways, fast forward and it turns out that I placed at H2Oi..

2nd place out of 50+ cars. :tup:

I am actually very happy with the way the car looks. The front will be coming down 0.5" over the winter.

 

I was there, didn't see your car nor did I know Ben was there. Was a good time as always though.

 

So lowering a car and putting ugly wheels on gets you second place?

 

Yeah, it's as easy as 1-2-3.

 

What won first place?

You say it's one of the biggest and well known vw events and only 50 entered...

 

A red car, with a lift kit AND even uglier wheels.

Crazy judges these days.

They see ugly wheels and coilovers and go bu-ku.

That idiot's lucky I took it easy on him. ^^^

 

And that's 50 in one class dude.

Looks can be deceiving as a lot of time, money, research and effort have gone into this car.

All work was done with basic tools and jack/jack stand as well. No shops have touched the car.
