MI 1993 Honda Civic CX B16
Selling my hatch because I'm about to get a motorcycle. Bought the car about 6 months ago with everything that is on it already done to it. All I've done is drive this car. Extremely reliable and recently did a good chunk of maintenance. Does throw an occasional CEL but it never stays on long enough for me to pull it so it doesn't really concern me. Onto the info. Pics will come later tonight.
1993 Honda Civic CX
Florida Car
67,000 miles and climbing on body around 30,000 on motor (according to previous owner)
Clean Title
Engine:
JDM B16
P30 ECU
Short ram intake
2.5" exhaust straight back from header with resonator and muffler
Authentic typeR headers (4-1)
New PWJDM cam seal
New plugs, wires, and spark plug gaskets
Transmission:
B16 trans w/ LSD
Aftermarket gear set with ratios similar to that of a typeR (previous owner)
New clutch fork, throwout bearing, slave cylinder, master cylinder
Stage 3 six puck clutch with a very heavy pressure plate. Never had the clutch slip yet
Interior:
Newish carpet, doesnt fit perfect right now previous owner did a sloppy install. When I get time I'll refit it.
Flawless stock interior. Not a single rip, stain or anything.
Shift light stealth mounted
Tach mounted in glove box
Greddy shift ****
Tekniq wheel w/quick release.
Exterior:
New gold paint (off a Volvo I believe) great color.
VIS carbon fiber hood
Carbon fiber hatch
Authentic Spoon duckbill. Yes it's actually real.
Wheels/Tires & Brakes:
Motegi TrakLites
Toyo Proxes4 with about 75-80% tread life left.
Rear disc conversion.
Fronts are drilled and slotted
All have fairly new pads.
Other:
No A/C
No P/S
The bad:
Not much wrong with this car but a few things.
1. Low idle occasionally. Car will idle low but once you tap the gas it comes back up.
2. Door seals leak. Not terrible but do leak a bit.
3. The suspension could use a little love. Up front it has ground controls on what I think are koni yellows which is great but in the rear it has some Tein basics that have seen better days. Really the only thing that I would need to fix on the car to have it up to my standards and I would just replace the rears.
