94 civic power door lock problems

Default 94 civic power door lock problems

ok i have a 94 coupe and my power door locks dont work, thing ive done to test it ive swap out relays, switches and the gray block that is mounted in the doors ive also connected direct power to my door actuators and they worked i dont know what else it can be plz help
oh yeah all parts were swapped from a car that worked

There are no relays in the power locks circuit.

Is 50A hood fuse 36 or 20A dash fuse 6 blown?

Ron ^^ - I considered the box that mounts in the door a relay, but maybe it's more of a "control unit". Hmm.

The circuit diagram shows no relays, only the control unit you mention. With that said, I really don't know whether there are any relays inside the power lock control unit.

Check for broken wire in the wire boot in the door hinge area.

sorry i meant fuses not relays but yeah their all good

i check them wires i tested them with a fluke in that mode that beeps lol not sure if its called ohm or continuity or what ever i know how to use a fluke but yeah i tested the wires and theirs no opens in the wires

i did just have an alarm installed but the door locks werent working befor then and even them guys tryed to find out the problem lol i should have blamed them for this mess up and have them fix it lol jk i wouldnt f with ppl like that

Hey guys I'm having the same problem but on a 92 4dr all 4 doors went out and won't lock or unluck anymore , when I got the car it was working fine And it came with a cheap alarm

^^^ Even if the door locks are wired into the cheap alarm, more than likely it's the door jamb connector plugs......corroded wire and wire pins. It's a common issue with 4dr EG's. I had the same issue with my old '93 4dr.
