Default LSVTEC Dyno 82mm

Finally got the build tuned. This is my daily driver. I built it to be on the conservative side so i can still run 87 octane and get good gas mileage while driving pretty chill. I get over 40-45mpg with this setup and all i have to do is swap in the larger injectors, hondata, good gas and have the power you see below.

B18b1 82mm x 89mm
P72 GSR 82mm pistons
Stock rods w/ ARP rod bolts
ARP head studs

P72 GSR head ported and polished
Est. Compression 10.5:1
Stock valves, RM Gen II valve springs, Skunk2 titanium retainers
CTR intake and exhaust cams
Skunk2 intake manifold w/ thermal gasket
Omni 68mm throttle body
3” shortram intake w/ velocity stack
DC Sports JDM Header 2.5” collector
2.5” exhaust w/ test pipe
MSD 6A and Blaster coil
OBD II Prelude injectors 290cc
P75 ECU VTEC conversion Hondata S100

that's awesome man, what's the trick for >40mpg??!

I barely get 38-40mpg if I coast all the time and drive only on the freeway at annoyingly low speed. I've got an ls vtec with gsr cams and an LS tranny in an eg hatch.

^^Because I'm jealous! Lol, I get like 18-20mpg from my B20Vtec. Oh well.

Thats actually good numbers for a pretty hindered setup..
a better manifold / cams would probbaly break 200whp.

better cams and exhaust manifold would definitely increase VE and probably allow him to get a few more mpg's out of it.

In a eg hatch back, a full tank , gives me about 380miles give or take how i hit vtec / lay into it..

I average about 28-32mpg mixed driving with my 2257cc h2b.

thanks for the comments guys. Does any one know what the dip right after the vtec switch over at 4500rpms is?

I thought it had some thing to do with the iab tuning because the stock computer had the same dip and the iabs open around 5500rpm on the gsr.
