doing my first engine build/tear down with a friend (who actually knows what hes doing). he is telling me to get main studs and throw out the factory bolts... I cant find them anywhere and the only thread i found was on hondaswap like three years ago with one comment that said its pointless... while its an answer I cant find enough info/or them to even buy in the first place to debunk it.

 

People normally replace the stock head bolts with ARP head studs... generally reuse the main bolts.
