it cuts off as if im hitting redline but it's only at 6, engine temp needle is just below middle line,it's not warming up all the way. I changed the thermostat tonight but i'm still having the same problems. I'm thinking it's engine temp. sensor right by the thermostat. That's just my guess.
specs are D16z6 with P&P job ARP headstuds DC 4-1 headers (w/ exhaust leak) AEM CAI, Fuel pressure Regulator. pretty much the only mods everything else is stock (pistons, rods, crank) if any of that matters. Any other ideas would be appreciated

 

Normal operating temp is when the temp gauge needle reads below halfway. Any CEL codes?

 

no, i'm not getting a single CEL code. also a friend of mine re-did the timing.

 

Does the CEL work? What ECU do you have?
