I have a friend who has a 95 civic ex he boought with a obd2 ls motor in it running.
He purchased a obd1 gsr motor to put in the car recently.
I am pretty good with wiring, i just cant find anything about this problem.

The harness that was in his car is a obd2 (a/b)(not sure) integra harness. I don't know if they are pnp or not.

The problem is the obd1 gsr dizzy has 9 wires, colors are

Blue black/yellow white blue/green blue/yellow orange or white?
white/blue orange/blue yellow/green


The obd2 integra engine harness has 8 wires colors are

black/yellow blue green white black red yellow yellow/green

The CKF sensor wires are blue/red white/red


What can be done if anything to get this dizzy wired up. I have the write up for the color codes being different, i just need to know what to do about the extra wire on the dizzy.

Run the extra wire to the tach test wire at the driver's side rear of the engine bay. Harness is OBD2B btw, the OBD2A harnesses had the extra wire, its for the tach signal. OBD2B get theirs from the ECU.
