Hello i just finished my power door conversion on my 97 hatch, i used a 98 harness etc. the door locks work perfect but i cannot get them to work with my alarm. everywhere i have read it says to use the green/white and green/orange i have the correct wires on the alarm brain too, i had this alarm installed in another 98. does anyone know what might be the problem?.

-alarm is grounding when i set or disarm the alarm. (checked with a continuity tester to ground)

-i cannot get the the locks to lock or unlock grounding the green/white or green/orange

-locks work perfect when using the button on the door panel

are you going from 12v+ to ground on the green/white, green/orange when you hit the door switch?

 

test the switch wires and make sure you have the correct wires coming out of the boot, If your grounding the lock/unlock wires of the car and it is not locking or unlocking its safe to assume to have the wrong wires.

 

ok thanks, looks like i'm taking the door panel back off and tracing wires... due to there being 20 or so wires coming out of the boot
