Default Ap1 s2000 Wheel Fitment

I'm in the market for new wheels at the moment, as my rear tires are about shot. I do not want to lower the car, as it is my daily driver. I much rather go with performance oriented (staggered, and as wide as I can go safely) rather then stretched tires and camber, I dislike that very much.
I know the offset is 55 in front and 65 in rear, but If I run an 8" tire out back is it safe to run 255? Any experience in this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

What does that have to do with what he asked?

It will depend on the tire. Most tire manufacturers recommend 8" as the smallest rim for a 245 tire and 8.5" as the smallest rim for a 255 size tire.

With a offset of 55-65 wouldnt that look like a over craft? do with +45. Did you ever boost that thing or what?

I'm worried trying to find the right offsets. I don't want to have to lower it to get the wheels to look decent.
