vtec codes
My son inlaw has a 2001 VTEC that has a code that says VTEC inop or not working. Once the rpm's start climbing above 4,000 it starts cutting out. Any one have any ideas?

First off its Vtec. No H
Second, do you know what the code # was?
Third, Vtec starts at 2700 - 2800, so im not sure why at 4000 it is giving out.
Fourth, Was any regular maitence done?
