DROPZONE SUSPENSION
Read a lot of people here talking about the brand dropzone. Incase you are thinking about buying them here is my personal experience. I installed dropzone struts and SPRINGS on my 94 coupe. Instal was easy and the ride is very smooth and nice. I also have a complete bushing kit from energy suspension that I installed also. The only bad thing I noticed is a popping noise I get from time to time, only over sever bumps like the curb leading up to my driveway. Ive had them for over a year and have yet to have any REAL problems with them. Once again I have springs NOT COILOVERS, cant say anything about those. I also have a 99 Civic SI and I will be doing the same set up on that as well. So if your trying to do suspension on a budget id recommend this set up with springs.
i have some of the old one's 450 up front and 350 in the back but with the rubber upper piece (its a rubber that sit above the spring) and i have no popping at all. my brother has the same coilovers but the newer one's 350 up front and 250 in the back and he has a metal upper piece and his pops sometimes. other than that mines are nice and stiff, i like the ride and my brother's are perfect for dd. like bizzle50h3 said if your doing it on a budget there good coilovers.
I have some drop zone coilovers on my civic, the car came with them new and in the trunk lol. They are pretty nice, the ride isnt rough or anything. Once I get my b18b turboed I will probably upgrade to a nicer suspension kit but for now they are great. I would say that if you are new, and want to lower your car without spending a whole lot, buy some dropzone, and then just upgrade later.
Not for autoX. I wouldnt say they are not for performance suspension, more for making ur car look good lowered and yet still being comfortable for cruising. My car handles pretty good with them, but I also have the full energy suspension bushing kit installed so that probably makes a big defference to

If you want cheap suspension that is worthy of autocross the progress CS-II is the cheapest option with good customer service and cheap replacement parts beyond their 1 year warranty.
You can pick rates and even order sets of additional springs to swap out for varying track locations.
