oka H-T, whats the average numbers onva stock ls vtec? b18b1 block and b16a2 head

this has been covered so many times. on a stock 9.2:1 compression LS block and a bone stock b16 head you will most likely make around 140- 150 wheel with bolt ons and a good tune. it will feel doggish in the lower rpm range due to the low compression and you will not be able to rev high considering the stock ls rods/rod bolts will serperate or fail at a high rpm

Then, isn't a stock gsr longblock better all around? Why even bother with a stock lsv when your're not going internally.

ls/vtec motors have alot more potential not to say that a gsr or b16 doesnt either. and ls blocks are a dime a dozen. they are so easy to find then why not. you can easily make one to be over 200+whp
