i have a 99 civic si and i bought a spoon style lip and i was wonderin if any has a write up on installing a lip, its kinda confusing like as to what things go where i kno its common sense but the hardware that came with it is weird , anyone have pics or sumn so i can get an idea

I used the OEM hardware kit with a replica lip. works much better then what you have.

 

that OEM hardware is like 5 bucks a bracket...

the screws are for the sides of the lip (tighten onto bumper near the tires)
the silver peices (forgot the name) go pressed into the bracket and the bottom of the lip
and the final peices are for under the bumper and the big holeson the bracket ill snap some pics of mine (even tho my lip is all busted)
and the hardware is alittle different same concept

my lip cracked on the side hence being so fked up






you should probably mount them apart so the lip's support is even distributed in 3 placed (RED)
mine are mounted in the pinkish color i only had two brackets

how'd it end up going? you might wanna swap out the push clips for some nuts/bolts and some washers
