juss finished my 91 ef has a b16a but cant get vtec to work right and cant figure out why it keeps dying every time i come to a stop. any ideas please let me know. thanks

 

more info...check engine lights?? obd0 or obd1 with conv. harness?

 

its obd0 check engine light dont come on untill u start driving it for a few miles, and it idles high when i start it up. and if i dont have idler screw in throtle body open most the way it dies alot and vtec kicks in when it wants to between 4500 and 5500. has pr3 obd0 ecu

 

so what codes r u getting once it comes on

 

no codes we tryed checkin um but the light on ecu dont even flash
