h22 build
posting this up for a friend..and for myself really this goes for both of our builds
my buddy just recently purchased a fully built h22a, never been fully put together and ran.
the motor:
fully built bottom end by darton
darton 88mm sleeved with block gaurd
wiseco 11:1 pistons
eagle rods
micropolished h22a crank
head is ported
brian crower stage 2 cams
dual valve springs
.5 over valves
bolt ons:
s2 intake manifold
blox 78 mm TB
full 3 in. exhaust
bigger injectors
hondata s300
he is looking for daily driveability and the most power as possible
he wants to throw a turbo on with the setup and im trying to talk him out of it and go all motor
what kinda whp do you guys think a setup like this will do?? Im curious for myself as well because im about to do an all motor h22a1 build and looking for what to do and what not to do.

driveability and realibilty will not bee so great on 11.0.1 w boost....
it can be done maybe on e85 fuel and alot of tunning and lower boost levels
most 11.0.1cr turbo builds are for drag cars only not daily drivers

thats why i told him to go all motor with the current setup. the dip **** that had the motor built had it built for boost??? and i told him that was stupid to have that high of compression..he called ME the retard.. hahahaha really
I agree about 220hp . If he wants to go boost just cut the dome off the pistons and cc it till its down to at least 10.1 that way you dont have to buy new pistons they can be expensive . i have pistons cut all the time to achieve the compresion i want it cost about 80 dollars . I normaly get 60 thousands off a pass so that i dont take to much off at once to make your i get the right compression. You also have to know how to cc so good luck hope everything works out. If he wants to stay all motor he need to get his compresion up to 12.1 to make some good hp in a dd . Im running 12.3 and it still gets 35 miles to the gallon . That has alot to do with the cams and tune though . just trying to help.
