1995 Integra gsr need some pointers on turbo build
Hi im starting a turbo build and was wondering wht is the best for the buck but i want to make around 300 to 400HP im willing to spend around 2500 for the build. i have the gsr tranny lsd,b18c1 motor stock so let me no wht u guys think i should go with
get good internals, people dont just get to 300-400 without spending some cash. then buy a turbo kit that you are comfortable with. there are a lot of kits out there that will help you hit your mark. good luck with your build bro.
you can do 300 on your stock block...just do a leak down and compression test. For a turbo kit i pieced my together from the classified section on here. you can prolly do it for around 1200 bucks then another 500 for a good tune. then put the rest into suspension.
or if you are hell bent on blowing all 2500 you can find a turbo kit and get some rods and pistons build your bottom end then you can go over 300.

one thing you will want is a ram horn manifold, much better flowing than the cast $100 units that have flooded the market. anything you can do to make power with less pressure is great. believe it or not a single runner intake manifold is also free hp over the dual stage gsr manifold. good size front mount intercooler and your choice of turbo. the s300 and its multiple map capability is smart. you can do a low pressure tune for street driving and pump gas and a high pressure e85 tune for the strip. one local guy pulled something like an 11.3 in the quart mile on a stock gsr and slicks. the only engine mod with an itr style intake manifold.
