So I am a new owner of a 92 dx coupe auto, and my roommate is a new owner of a 98 4 dr auto lx. A few questions-


What year range of accords will provide me with a manual tranny and possibly a motor and provide him a/c parts, brake parts? & if it is a 6 gen 4 door, alot of interior parts and glass and such. I'm fairly sure that if its a 6 gen, the shift drivetrain linkage won't cross over, but I still think there's enough there for it to be worth it if the price is right.


There's all sorts of auctions in dallas and I think it would be worth it for the both of us to combine a few bucks to buy the whole shebang and within a week have the junker deconstructed and ready for the scrap yard or the attic.

If you have any input on the pros and cons of buying a particular model and gen for a combined junk car purchase, I would greatly appreciate it.

yeah- i would love to start a network with other dfw-ers to let each other know when theres a deal on something they're looking at an auction. If I had someone vouching for a car and sending me real time pics I would drop what I'm doing and make a bid.
