Default QUESTION FOR THE SLAMMED CARS! axle cv boots always ripping?

my car is pretty low but not as low as i've seen many of these slammed cars on here..but its tucking pretty good up front.. but i keep having a problem of my axle's cv boots ripping. A few shops have told me its because im too low.. I'm sick of having axle grease spewing everywhere but i know that everyone thats slammed cant have that problem..they wouldnt want axle grease all over there real JDM wheels yo!

the mechanics say they bend up and the axle boots "ripples" rub on eachother causing it to tear.

any ideas? do i have the wrong axles maybe? haha just wondering if you guys have the same problem

The mechanics told you the truth, haveing a slammed car eats axles, as well as other thigns.
The riplles do rub each other and after a while they will wear right threw.

Raise your car up, and just deal with it.

You can reposition the boot so they don't rub, if you have the right tools

You just need a cv boot band tool and a new band, and you basically spread the rips apart by sliding the small end of the boot, so they wont rub as your driving, then tighten down the clamp.

Im new to all this & im learning as I go so bear with me. I bought an integra and its slammed af! The previous owner put coilovers on it but I dont see a brand on them so im guessing they're some crappy ebay ones, if I wanted to ride on stock height how would I do that? Take the coilovers off & get original struts or what? Excuse me if thats a dumb question

Answered your own question. But since they are probably adjustable why not adjust them to stock height?

Don't gets shocks from the junkyard. Get suitable OEM replacements. Tokico Blues, Koni Orange or Reds, etc.

You can 1st try to adjust them since they are adjustable coilovers. 2nd is getting stock struts.
