Default ecu question

ok i have a p28 ecu chipped for my b18c. I havent put that in yet so i still have my d16 in.
for kicks i want to put the p28 in for a little while. my question is will this hurt my engine at all when i do that?

Yes. Your engine will die similar to drowning puppies in a river.


Use the OEM ECU, youre not gunna leave it in there for "a little while".

no i just want to put it in for a run or two it has a launch control feature that i wanna see. i wouldnt ever leave it in thats dumb.

If anything it will run rich with a B18C map on a D16Z6. Just be careful not to rev it past the 7200-7500rpm mark and it probably won't even hurt that SOHC.
