Hi mates

I've bought an TB as being from an ITR from an user of this forum. The TB has been delivered and it has not the dimensions of an ITR TB. Seller insists that it belongs to an itr, I know it doesn't. So I've decided to open this thread to help me prove that seller is wrong.

The TB he sent me has the following dimensions:

inlet (intake rubber pipe side):
outer 68mm / inner 63mm

outlet (after butterfly/plenum side):
inner 61mm

Shouldn't a genuine itr throttle body have an inlet of around 67mm and tapered down to 62mm? (both inner dimensions)

inlet outer diameter must be 70+ mm, right? If Spoon or Maxbore can bore it to 70mm opening... The one I've received has at the largest point 68mm, how can they bore it to 70mm opening, for sure it's not an itr TB, it's a regular B16A2 (OBD2) TB.

Please everyone with the knowledge reply to this thread, because I've been scammed and in last case I'll need to prove paypal that the seller is wrong.

Also, the TB has been sold as being JDM, all JDM itr TB have a spout that connects to the charcoal canister, right? The one I've received has not that spout.

Please help

 

If it was a regular B16/GSR/etc throttle body it would be 60mm ID. A ITR is 62mm. You can look at the bottom of the throttle body, does it have a place for a IACV, or is it just a inlet and outlet port?

Do you mean FITV? The TB I've received doesn't have FITV, it's alike the one in the picture you've post, the only problem is that specifications/dimensions don't match itr TB ones.

This cannot be an ITR Throttle body, right?

The 62mm that ITR has, is measured after butterfly (plenum side) like in the last photo, right?

 

That is not an ITR TB. Clean the butterfly and take a look at it. If it is an ITR, it should have either 625 or 1JC stamped on it. That one judging by the pics, should have a 660 stamped on it.

does it look ugly as ****? to be honest thats the only way i can tell the difference in the itr/gsr/b16/ls TBs

 

After all this time user hasn't refund me a cent, complete waste of time and money.

Avoid this user, he's not serious and doesn't have a clue of what is selling
