i have a 97 ex coupe 5 speed that has a little problem. its supposed to have the y8 in it but something happened to it before i got it and was swapped with a y7. ok heres the problem the car hits a rev limiter at 5500 rpm. everything in the car is for the y8 (ecu, wiring harness, tranny, ect) except the motor. so idk if the ecu isnt readin vtec so it wont allow the motor to rev out or what. help would be greatly appreciated
