??? rev ??? limiter ???
my friend had a 97 ex with a blown sohc vtec motor. he later swapped the motor for a 98 sohc vtec motor (d16y7) out of a salvaged ex that was hit from behind.
the problem is ....
there is a rev limiter at 5500.
question ....
why is the rev limiter at 5500? ,, what is causing this etc... and how can this be fixed?
p.s. there was no tuning ... the motor was just dropped in hoping for the best.
-thank you for any help and responses.
