Default 91 Civic SAFC questions

I have a SAFC in my Civic and i dont think its working properly. I know its not the best way to tune a car but i cant afford the stand alone system. There is three different settings with in the SAFC (pressure, hotwire, and something else) Does anyone know that those are suppose to be set to? cause they all are set to 1 in and 1 out. When i change the low speed mixture that idle i can turn it all the way to -50 and +50 and the idle changes very minimal. I figured it would kill the motor.

Do you have the instructions? I have only used SAFC2 on a Talon TSi AWD (frequency/Kharmen vortex MAF), but the Civic has a MAP (pressure system) and you need to cut and intercept that signal wire at the ECM. Sounds like the unit is not wired correctly - recheck it. That's all the advice I have, like I said, I haven't used the SAFC on Hondas.

ps I like tuning with them...

Well right when i got the motor built i took it to a local dyno and had the owner tune it with the air/fuel ratio monitor and when he change the ratio it would really change the tone of the motor but now it wont do much. Checked all the wires and they are all still connected. Noticed that my O2 sensor wire is broke would that cause the SAFC to not work properly?
