ECU or??
I have made some progress on the civic I bought. The ecu I had ended with pm9 c50 & was off a 1990 auto cx. The one I found was off a 1991 civic auto but ended with pm9 c51 Does this last digit matter? After installing the ecu I had coolant,air flow etc codes-found the bad wire & fixed it. This cleared the codes. Then I got a tdc code-took off distributor & low & behold no rotor.... I put a new cap & rotor on . car will try to start but hit the pedal & die. I checked the fuel relay & pump they are fine gas goes all over if I check it at the fuel rail..
If I give it a blast of easy start it will fire up so I am wondering about the injectors- I have 12 volts all the way back through the injectors to the ecu. Will they not pump because of the last digit being bad or? Any help appreciated. All codes cleared but still just starts & quits, runs real rough unless I add fuel through the intake tube.
when I put my meter accross the injector input & try to fire up the car I get 1 to 2 volts. Is this correct or is the ecu not sending the signal to ground?

I am connected to a 2500 Diesel & it has lots of power to the battery, the engines turns over fast. There is a broke power steering line from the shop that changed the engine so I don`t want to put oil everywhere.

I put the alt belt on -same deal

#1 The motor says ZT 6216355, what is this out of?
#2 It has the old intake & dizzy on it is that all that needs transfered?
#3 It has an ecu out of a 91 with all #'s except the last one work?
#4 How do you test the fuel pressure on the rail on this?
#5 how do you test the injectors?
how do you know if the ecu is grounding them or that they are squirting is my question I guess. If I new I was getting fuel I would look into the coil/igniter but when I spray easy start into the intake tube it runs..
Last question (ya right-lol) where does the tube on the intake tube connect to on a 1990 civic? Crank case vent?

I don`t have the camera or ability... I will check back until I get to the garage & get the book on the car. If I get it fixed before great if not I will post back with the issues for others.
I read on another forum that this was the place for help on older Honda`s so I have been asking & reading here-lots of info so I`m still digesting....
I have done some engine work on various cars but never a Honda until now so I am greatly lacking. I have been searching but not finding the answers to the questions above.
What should a voltage meter read across the injector plug when trying to start the car. I have no noid lights at this time
