Alright so i put my key into the ignition and i hear the usual beeping sound, but then when i turn to start it i get dead silence. But then back to the on position and its still makes the normal sound, but ive got no lights. so i tried it 4 more times and nothing. Then the beeping started to slowly fade away. Is this just the case of a dead battery? Shouldnt the car at least make that flickering sound?

if the battery is too low iw will not make that flickering noise.

dead battery. go get it charged and see if it holds it
