Default OBD conversion questions

If i have an OBD-0 to OBD-1 jumper harness for my crx is that all i need to run my OBD-1 ECU?? i have an OBD-0 engine harness.... i have read that some people re wire, re pin or re do something to convert it. did i get the jumper harness to keep from having to re wire anything? can i keep the OBD-0 distributor? also my car was a DPI but i have an OBD-0 harness with four injector plugs do i need to add anything? people where i live claim to know whats going on but i am hearing different opinions from different people.

First thing is to take care of the DPFI>MPFI conversion because there is no OBD1 or newer ECU that uses two fuel injectors as far as I know. Having said that, it is easier to convert your DPFI harness into a MPFI harness vs trying to install the MPFI harness you have. After that is taken care of, you'll need an OBD1 distributor to match your ECU (your conversion harness may or may not include the pig tails for the newer distributor).

You need the following:
Obd1 distributor to match your motor
4 wire o2 sensor
Repin your wiring for the new distributor

Those of you with a Universal 4 wire O2 sensor how did you figure out which of the 4 wires from the O2 sensor go to the correct/corresponding wires on the jumper harness? No diagram on the O2 sensor from Bosch...

Thanks,

You don't need an OBD1 distributor. If you have an OBD0 or OBD2 dizzy you can just use a conversion harness or wire it up yourself. I did that on my OBD2 GSR swap in my CRX. For the O2 sensor do you have the stock plug already on it?

I was thinking he had some weird aftermarket 4 wire 02 sensor. That clears it up. everything will make sense when you get the 4 wire sensor
