Whats the best size tire for a 15x7 wheel? its going on an eg hatch. Im not concerned with brand or type as ill go with the best traction tire but I need help with size. 225-55, i know the 55 is the sidewall of the tire so i dont want that too big maybe a 45 or 50? Wow, I can't believe the lack of knowledge around here.

The best 15" size tire for a '92-95 Civic is 195/50-15. The other sizes mentioned above range from too big, to WAY TOO BIG.

If you want to learn what the numbers in the tire size mean, read through the FAQ topic stickied at the top of this forum.

And stick to the wheel widths approved by the tire manufacturers for the particular tire and size. For most 195/50-15 tires, 15x7 is okay.
