42" Panasonic Plasma - PERFECT!
As the title states, I am selling a 42 inch Panasonic Plasma TV. I love the TV but have since bought a 52 inch TV so will no longer have use for this one. The model of the TV is Panasonic Viera TH-42PZ700U and a CNET review can be found at http://reviews.cnet.com/flat-panel-t...contentBody;1r.
The TV has full 1080p and the refresh rate of plasmas is typically much higher than that of LCD’s (even top of the line LCD’s out right now). Refresh rate is more important to those who will use the television for gaming or watching sports, etc. Some features of the TV include:
- (2) HDMI inputs
- VGA-style PC input (1280x1024 maximum resolution)
- Pair of component-video inputs
- (2) AV inputs with composite and S-video
- RF-style antenna input
- Optical digital output for the ATSC tuner
In addition, a panel in front of the TV flips down to access controls and another AV input with composite- and S-video, while a second panel hides a slot for SD, SDHC, and mini SD (adapter required) cards, allowing you to display JPEG digital photos on the big screen.
I believe $650 is a very reasonable price as I purchased it for close to double the asking price a little over a year and a half ago. Comparable televisions are selling new for around $1,000 - $1,500 depending on various features.

Sorry man dont wanna hate but now a days tv's sell for alot less i paid 775 shipped no tax for my panasonic and its the updgraded version of this brand new. I will say its the best tv i have ever owned by far but i would say 550 is a fair price. And for anyone who purchases this panasonic is rated extremely high for their plasma's they are awesome for gaming also

So yes, when a computer is hooked up, this TV actually does support 1920x1080 for a pc, you just need to hook up the computer with an hdmi cable vs a vga cable as you do with the LCDs you mention. Thanks for the bump.
