well I had a boosted b20 vtec and it cracked all the sleeves. I have pics if you want to see. It could have been a bad tune that helped, but I don't think I would do anything radical to a b20 unless you throw some darton or golden eagle sleeves in there. Some all motor guys will be able to tell you for sure

lol.
13. comp would be the limit where you would prolly need sleeving. but
depends what your doing with it. alot of people go without sleeves and get away with it. its up to you. usualy the rule of thumb is "u gotta dish out $ for some powa"

Doing it reliably all the time on stock sleeves is quite common, you just have to know what you're doing:

Not true.

Stock sleeves aren't weak - They are **** to low rpm/ high load knock thats why they get split or crack cause idiots flooring it at 2k rpms in like 3rd gear, and the ign isn't tuned correctly.

I'm running 13.0CR daily driven, stock b20 sleeves. with a block guard. Your fine.. plenty of b20vtec's making well over 375whp on stock sleeves.

with a VERY good tune you should be fine. just have the motor built and tuned by someone who really knows there stuff and you'll be ok. there are many b20vtecs that have taken 100+ hp shots of nitrous and I've seen more than a few 400whp boosted b20s too, the thing is they were put together and run by people who are VERY good at this honda game. you put an FMU on there and floor it up the street without a tune and I bet it lasts 5 minutes.
