Hey guys I know how to test a spark plug wire to see if it is giving off a spark by either hooking up a spark plug to it and doing a visual or putting the end of the sparkplug wire near a ground to see if i can see a spark but... What about resistance. OHMs.
What happens when your spark plug wires are not to the resistance of new ones?
What are integra spark plug wires supposed to read on an ohm meter?

I'm not a 100% sure but It might be something like 2k-5kOhms per foot.
You might just want to try google or something. What does your old ones read?

depends on the wire. what you basically do is test all 4 and see if they are close, if you have 3 that read 2k ohms and one that's at 12k you have issues. wires are a general maintenance item that most of us just replace every few years.
i swear the civic service manual might have had something like that...maybe try autozone's repair guides, cus i know we did this on my friends 95 civic and he actually had the spec's
for oem wires probably, any others they vary. msd wires for example have almost no resistance in comparison. roughly 150 ohms/foot. i forgot where oem was but it's over 1000ohms foot
