So I bought an 88 CRX Si from a scrapyard recently, and I have just installed a new fuel pump and a new fuel fuel filter. (Thanks for the information on how to remove the banjo bolt guys it was a real help.) But anyways, I have combed through all the possible problems and the fuel pump still won't pump fuel, I checked the relay, checked all my wiring connections, and checked to make sure the fuel lines are ran correctly. Am I overlooking a fuse or anything of the like anywhere? Also as soon as I get a digital camera I will posting pictures of the restoration process on this site as well.

 

I would say main relay, but check for power at the fuel pump first.

 

I already checked the relay I took it out and put it in my 91 civic DX and the relay is fine, and that left me with the question of why the fuel pump isn't working.

 

Check for power at the pump. If there is power then the pump is bad, it happens all the time.

 

I just bought a new pump two days ago, put all the finishing touches on it today, and hope it's not a bad pump because I would have to do alot of work all over again

 

I work in a garage, we have had a few bad starters and a bad fuel pump come in. It happens.
