I dont know if its a bad piston ring , but when i pull the spark plug wire off the engine sounds like its getting better but then sounds crappier, then when i put it back in it sounds way better than just gets normal again, but it still makes this ticking sound. please help

 

Removing a plug wire while the engine is running is among the most effective ways to blow the coil.

Are you sure the engine is just not missing due to an ignition system problem (plug, wires, cap, and rotor)?

Have you compression tested the cylinders?

 

well i did see oil in the plug when i removed the plug wire but im not sure if its the dizzy or rotor sorry if i sounded like a new-b
