Just had the engine rebuilt, picked up the car from the shop and on the way home the engine harness burned up. It also burned up some of the harness under the dash. I replaced the engine harness and tried to fix some of the wiring ounder the dash. Will an 89 si under dash harness fit the 89 lx harness?

 

As far as I know it should fit.

 

dpfi and mpfi harnesses do not mix to well.....when you speak of underdash harness, you talking the one that the fuse box is linked to? if so, you have one hell of a job in front of you.......

 

The correct thing to do would be take it back to the shop and have them fix it.

 

sounds right to me I would thats B.S. man!

 

The vehicle was towed to the shop and kept for two weeks... came back half assed. Now the vehicle starts and runs but cuts out and stalls after a couple of min. of driving. No engine light no nothing just cuts out.

 

Damm son sounds like you got ripped off....I mean you didn't pay them right?

Take them to court if they dont wanna pay up or fix it right...
