J D M CRX rear seat install. finished.
Well, its finished..
Parts needed..
upper and rear seat portion
side panels with belts
U brackets for top latch
lower seat brackets that actually have to be cut off of a crx with rear seats in them and sent to you. Then some how rewelded back on or bolted on...
some bolts and ish.
How to:
basically, drop the gas tank, drill 4 holes.. two small ones for the nipples and 2 big ones for the bolts.. get some good size washers and bolts and bolt the seat belts down.. the other section of seat belt already has a home...
then, pull out rear plastic. mount u bracket on top bracket, mount top section of seat, then guestimate the angel of the rear seat, mark were the mounts should go.. drill 4 holes, sand to metal, slap a bunch of jbweld down and 4 bolts per side and thats set.. then spend 2 hours dremeling the **** out of the side panels to get the U bracket a home and the bottom bracket a home.. bolt it all together, take pics.. ahhh and ewww.. Nice and functional and pimp... Good place to toss the kid..
oh, picsThe biggest PITA, expensive, weight adding install ever.
have fun

Good info. i'm gonna be getting some rear seats and other misc stuff from New Zealand and I was wondering about the install..
First off, its not a bolt in affair. Its not the easiest thing to do to get it right. The ******* dont just BOLT IN.. far from it. Along with cutting the back wood hatch correctly also..
Keep your negative comments to yourself ya jealous *******..
PS: The reason for the rear seat is so i can take my kid with us when we go places. Instead of taking my integra.

no one in their right mind would put their kids in a back of a crx. i rather take my kids around in a bigger car instead of a cramped death trap.
