Default How to fix busted Integra front sway bar link kit ??

I broke the front driver's side sway bar link on my 94 integra and I am having a hard time fitting the new replacement link I bought in between the control arm and the bar. The bushings on the new link are too fat to fit in the gap, much less the spacer that comes with it.

Does anyone have a good write up or instructions on how to make this work? Do I need to undo the other side in order to get more play to stack the new bushings?

Have you tried to loosen the other side or use a jack on the wheel while the car is in the air?

I haven't tried to loosen the other side but if I do, I'll have to replace it because its so rusted...I'll do it if its the only way to do it. I don't see how a jack on the wheel will pull the control arm down

you'll have to jack up the other wheel, since its pulling down on the sway bar.
