b18b1 all motor non vtec 250whp????
i want to see what i need for a 250whp build i have the block some ctr pistons stock ls rods and want to know what else i need im going all arp and clevite for barrings.

you need 4 grand, race gas, 13.1+compression, 84mm, type r or b16 head, very good cnc port job, 3" exhaust, VERY BIG CAMS like skunk2 tuners or buddy club, good long tube headers, 70mm throttle body, ported manifold, 440-550cc injectors, and a really good dyno tune.

Not sure why the postedabove suggested Skunk2 Tuner Cams or to bore a LS Block to 84MM. If you going to go 84MM on a LS Block better sleeve it.
To go with what has already been suggested, better get a 95MM Crankshaft.
I don't think you know what your getting yourself into, nor do I think you have the budget for it. Just build it the way you want to and remember, a number is just a number, altough we all strive for the big ones.

good exhaust
probably no idle whatsoever
ETC.
pretty much every trick available
its pretty hard to achieve 250 on a B20 vtec and having an LS its like 10 steps back.

first sell that block, pistons, and bearings.
second....buy sleeved block bored to at least 84mm and watch money fly out of your hand to get the parts to support 250whp
i think im going to just turbo it and not go all motor to much money for me even if it will be more reliable in the long run but its a honda so your never going to be to reliable.
displacement is the key brother i would invest on a stroker kit and you definetly need to sleve your block go 85 mil get your self some 13: cr pistons maybe some toda c mams and you need to run race fuel on their or get a aem meth kit but you can do it just need cash lots of cash

to get 200whp all u need is to get a vtec head, higher compression pistons and some type r cams with a port job and good bolt ons with a good tune and ull def get 200whp. thats good for 12.9 with slicks in a eg or ek hatch if you can drive.
For your HP goals, I think you should read up in the turbo forums. 250+ whp is alot easier to reach with one of those turbocharger thingys. And you could do it on a stock engine!

built bottom end just like it would be for lsvtec
and using LS cams with same as vtec lobe.
wouldnt that yeld same power as the vtec head that had similar work done to it.
i mean if you pretty much make an LS head with vtec cam why wouldnt it be similar power?
given that the idle would be not there at all.

You MIGHT be able to get the head to flow enough with enough work, but still with just 1.834 liters of displacement, I dont really see it happening without going over 10k rpms.
Even getting a 1.8 VTEC motor to put down 250whp is nearly impossible. I say nearly because Ive never seen one, but that doesnt mean its not possible..

Just get a turbo. You will spool fast if your goals are only 250 hp! And you will pick up more chicks with the BOV riding in that ef-thing :0 lol
