Default Thinking about getting out of the game

The details:
1995 Acura Integra GSR
156k mi
5 spd just recently rebuilt, shifts like butter
New axles
All maintenance (fluids etc) are up to date
Fat Fives with almost brand new Bridgestone Potenzas
Only mods are 6000k HIDs and a DC Sports 4-1
BG-33p looks great except for the rear spoiler, some fading.
Interior is darn near perfect.
Nice tint.
No accidents, and the rear has been debadged.

Looking for $4500, do you think this is reasonable? I just can't stand living in downtown ATL and worrying about her getting stolen everyday...

Or should I keep her...

All opinions are greatly appreciated

Thanks for the positive remarks, it does have an alarm, kill switch and steering wheel lock on it at all times. I guess I got my cold feet after my friend's EM1 was stolen last week with all of the same safety precautions. His car was towed...

The boot would help but with any car if it look's nice and some one want's it bad enough, they will do every thing they can to get it.I have also thought of leaving honda to somthing more mature .Im just worn out on beeing seen as a teenager or a ricer(although my car is far from that). Those are the only reason i thought of droping honda.Theft can be detoured some one really must have wanted his car.An other way to find out is to find out in your local seen any tow truck driver's who are into honda's.My buddy had is car stolen buy a driver for a local small tow truck company. He meet the driver at a meet they BS for awhile asked him where he was working at took a drive to there lot and there is was stripped and still had the plate on.Tucked away in the back far from peeping eye's.He jumped there fence there gaurd dog came up to him and licked him lol.He is now taking legal action.

95% of the time a theft can be prevented, bottom line is don't let your guard down.

If your lazy and can't keep a good eye on your car id say yea get rid of it

yea if your buddy have all that and they still took it that mean they must really wanted that car. i only take my car to place i know like friends house work or so on so on only places that is safe or harder for some one to steel it. also the big thing is stay away from meets. that seem to be the biggest problems some one always following you .

Give it a try at that price, but for what you're asking ...it needs:
itr seats + 98-01 front conversion + it needs to be lowered.

Thank you for the input safedriver, but I do think the car is more valuable in its 99% stock form than having the played out 98-01 front end, all too common ITR seats in a gsr, and the negatives behind having a lowered car in atlanta. If you want to make a GSR your own, this would be a good start. Just feeling it out right now though, I do love this car. And I am NOT TOO LAZY to keep an eye on it, hell it sits in my gated parking garage every day its nice because I also have a motorcycle. It's just when I want to go out, I park the bike and if I ever stay at a girls place etc, I worry about it. I even get made fun of when I randomly go look out the window. IMO this is way too much hassle for a car worth <$5000.

Vince

Also note, I have had 2 cars stolen in atlanta from me already so yea, maybe I am a little paranoid lol

simple bolt cutters/lock cutters will cut through a chain in a second

dont do the removable steering wheel. get a wheel lock and a clutch lock. cause with the wheel lock, you can't turn the wheel, nor can you remove the factory wheel to swap one onto it.

If it was mine, I'd keep it. Upgrade security and do the best you can, but this isn't the classifieds section. This is a borderline forsale ad.
